Payment can be made by Cash, Cheque, Bank Transfer or Credit and or Debit Card, via the payment link on your invoice.

New for 2026: If your horse loses a shoe within 4 weeks of their shoeing appointment we will put it back on for free – with no additional call out charges, providing that:
- You are able to wait until we are working in your area
- The working environment and horses temperament don’t hinder the shoeing process
- That the shoe is not worn out and needs replacing.

Call out fees
Charged for additional services (if we are not already present on your yard) or if you need us to attend for an urgent appointment.

Shoeing Extras
- Road pins per shoe ( 2 inserted) £2 (£2.40 )
- Road nails per shoe (2 inserted) £2 (£2.40)
- Stud holes per shoe ( Includes up to 2 holes ) £2.50 (£3)
- Bar shoes each £15 (£18)
- Plastic or leather Pad each £15 (£18)
- Pad packing per foot e.g. digital impression material £15 (£18)
- Composite shoe £35 per shoe (£42)
- Application of shoe using glue £30 (£36)
Additional Services (Call out fees may apply)
- Reapplication of shoe during our shoeing cycle – Free (If this is within 4 weeks of being fitted then there will be no call out charges either, subject to conditions, see top of page)
- Fitting of new (replacing lost) shoe during our shoeing cycle £10 (£12)
- Shoeing one foot (when a shoe is lost, outside of our recommended shoeing cycle) £22.50 (£27)
- Farriery lameness assessment £20 (£24)
- Foot search or investigation £20 (£24)
- Additional time (per 5 minutes) £10 (£12)
- Hoof reconstruction or repair £30 (£36)
- Hoof cast £30 (£36)
Prices shown are based on well behaved horses, ponies or donkeys, when the required task can be completed safely within an appropriate timeframe.
Heavy Horses are excluded from these prices
